Privacy Policy
How Rei collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: 2026-01-03
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Rei (including the dashboard), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Discord account data: basic profile information returned by Discord OAuth (such as your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the list of servers you can manage).
- Server configuration: settings you save in the dashboard (for example, feature toggles and message templates).
- Operational data: data needed to provide bot features (for example, identifiers for channels, roles, and other Discord objects referenced by your configuration).
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate you and allow access to the dashboard.
- Store and apply your server’s configuration.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Prevent abuse and ensure security.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, or protect the Service from abuse. Discord is a third-party platform, and using the Service also involves data handled by Discord under their own policies.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and operate features you enable. You can disable features or remove the bot from a server to stop new data from being processed for that server.
Your choices
- You can revoke Rei’s access in your Discord account settings.
- You can remove the bot from a server to stop it from operating there.
- If you need help with data access or deletion requests, reach out via the support server linked in the site footer.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
